Wilderness First Responder (Hybrid)

Monday, May 25th - Friday, May 29th, 2026

This training is a partnership between the Outdoor Sport Institute and Landmark Learning, bringing a 5-day Hybrid Wilderness First Responder course Millinocket. The Hybrid Wilderness First Responder will take place on New England Outdoor Center's campus from Monday, May 25th to Friday, May 29th, 2026.

This is an 80-hour course, with roughly 35 hours being completed online before the beginning of the course at the students' own pace. The in-person portion of the course will be full days of material review from the online modules, brand new information in lecture and practical formats, and many scenarios to get hands-on practice with patient care in a remote wilderness setting, including one evening session and a CPR course built in. Lodging is available on-site for this course, as well.
