We are certainly enjoying this second summer that we have been experiencing lately and our guests are taking advantage of it as well. Ken had 2 wildlife tours today, both via pontoon boat. In the morning, they had the Birds of a Feather tour as Ken named it since they saw a wide variety of birds including loons and ducks, kingfisher and geese, a great blue heron and a cormorant. This evening, Ken and his small group of 2 ventured back out on Millinocket Lake and enjoyed seeing a juvenile eagle, a kingfisher, a wood duck, 2 loons, 6 geese, a common merganser, 4 beaver and an otter.
