It was a clear and sunny morning of 50 degrees and our intimate group of 2 bundled up for a chilly boat ride to Big Mud Brook. Along their journey they saw a plethora of wildlife including, some loons, a kingfisher, both a snapping and painted turtle, a muskrat, a swimming mink for the third time this week, a deer and a cow moose. We had a larger group of 7 for the evening tour and again, Ken headed across the lake to Big Mud. Although they didn’t have the pleasure of seeing a moose, they did a lot. Some kingfishers, loons, a deer, 2 beaver and a marten to round out the day.
