It looks like today was the day of the birds, as both Bob and Ken and their combined total of 12 guests saw many different species of birds. Bob had the morning tour where they saw loons, an eagle and several merganser ducks. Ken was our guide in the evening and they saw loons, an eagle, a great blue heron, some kingfishers and a raven. All of this in the shadow of the great Katahdin.
