With the threat of thunderstorms in the area, our Maine Guide, Ken decided to air on the side of caution and stayed on land tonight. The group of 7 were delighted to see a variety of birds including chimney swifts, loons, a ruffed grouse, a broad-winged hawk, 6 wood ducks and 3 common goldeneyes. They also saw 2 deer, a snowshoe hare and 4 moose! There were 2 cows, 1 bull and 1 undetermined. Now that was one action packed tour!
