The sun has returned after a dreary weekend and our guests took complete advantage of that. We had 2 full wildlife tours and a midday sight-seeing tour all with Ken at the wheel of the NEOC pontoon. In the morning they were impressed to see some loons, 4 painted turtles, a deer and 3 moose…a bull, a young bull and a cow. In the afternoon, on the sight-seeing tour the guests were delighted by not only the views of the lake and the surrounding beauty but also a bald eagle, osprey and a cow moose. And last but not least, on the evening tour as they ventured into Big Mud Brook they saw loons, ducks, a beaver, a muskrat and 1 cow and 1 bull moose! It was a great day in the Katahdin region.
