Matt was the guide for our morning tour and was able to get his group of 6 out on the NEOC pontoon boat. They saw kingfishers, mallards and mergansers, ring neck ducks and eagles. In the evening, Ken and his group of 5 boarded the van and headed up the Golden Road to see what they could see. As they made their way to the Sofa Pit they saw a blue jay, geese and a bunch of wild cranberries.
