On this soggy, wet Saturday our Maine guide, Matt was doing double duty with both a morning and evening wildlife tour. It was raining too hard to get out on the lake so they decided to go by van and ventured into Baxter State Park to Sandy Stream Pond. While there they were able to see ring necked ducks, a common merganser and a bull moose. Obviously the rain didn’t bother him. Later in the day Matt loaded his group of 9 into the van and started up the Golden Road but it seems like the wildlife was all taking cover and they didn’t see a thing.
