It was an unseasonably hot day in the Katahdin Region and we had 2 wildlife tours. In the morning, Matt was our guide with a group of 10 on the pontoon boat. The group was excited to see terns and loons including a nesting loon, beavers and a doe. On the evening tour, Paul gathered 5 guests and went into Baxter State Park to Sandy Stream Pond. It was apparently too hot for much wildlife since they only saw a momma goldeneye with her babies.
