The day’s tours were a wondrous success! The morning group saw three moose, one deer, and several of Maine’s wild birds. A bald eagle flew overhead, while loons and ducks swam alongside the boat. The evening tour also happened upon several loons. Part of the group also briefly glimpsed a cow moose, and a wild beaver made an appearance for the night.
