Our tour guide, Matt brought 3 guests to Sandy Stream Pond in our Ktaadn Resorts van. Guests enjoyed the views of Katahdin and sightings of red squirrels and a doe!
Fall foliage wasn’t the only thing that, Maine guide, Matt and 2 guests saw on this late October morning on their way to Sandy Stream Pond on the Ktaadn Resorts van. Not one but TWO bull moose made an appearance! An early morning rainbow was also sighted.
On this early morning, Maine guide, Neil and 3 guests set out towards Sandy Stream Pond on the Ktaadn Resorts van. Sighted a moose! The guests stopped to film for 30 minutes – what a great sighting!
Maine guide, Matt brought 7 guests in the Ktaadn Resorts van and headed off towards Baxter State Park. Enjoying the views of Mount Katahdin and the last bit of fall foliage, they had a pleasant ride through the park and saw a partridge.
On this crisp fall morning, Maine guide, Paul took 10 guests on the Ktaadn Resorts van to the Golden Road and Brownville Road to see what they could find. A turkey and two deer made an appearance alongside the fall foliage and spectacular views.
On the afternoon tour, our guide Paul and 10 guests set out on an adventure towards Baxter State Park in the Ktaadn Resorts van. The sights of the fall foliage and Mount Katahdin on the Golden Road made for an enjoyable tour.
On this lovely fall Sunday our Maine guide, Matt had 2 tours beginning with the morning tour and 6 guests onboard the Ktaadn Resorts van traveling along the Golden Rd. They were able to see a few eagles and a broad tail hawk. For the evening tour with the winds dying down Matt was able to get his large group of 12 out on Millinocket Lake on the pontoon boat. As they made their way across the lake towards Big Mud Brook they were able to see loons and geese, black ducks and mergansers.
On this breezy fall evening, our guide Matt and 8 guests boarded the van and set off for Baxter State Park. As the group made the hike into Sandy Stream Pond they were able to see a red squirrel and a partridge along with the stunning views of Katahdin from the pond.
On the evening tour tonight, Matt was behind the wheel of the Ktaadn Resorts van since the high winds prevented him from going on the boat. With 5 guests in tow he headed into Baxter State Park for the short hike into Sandy Stream Pond. Along with the gorgeous view of Katahdin from the pond the group of 5 was thrilled to see a bald eagle and a bull moose! Nice job Matt!
This morning our Maine guide, Bob and 8 guests braved the chilly temperatures for a beautiful boat ride around Millinocket Lake. The sun was shining and the leaves are in peak foliage so it was an incredible sight with Katahdin looking down on them as they saw loons and black ducks.
Today we had both a morning and evening wildlife tour. In the morning, Paul was our guide with a group of 2 on board the Ktaadn Resorts van. As they drove along the Golden Rd and Brownville Rd they were able to see 2 turkeys and the rare sighting of a fisher cat. For the evening tour we had Matt at the wheel of the pontoon boat with 5 guests heading towards Big Mud Brook. The group saw loons and black ducks.
This morning, Bob and 1 guest decided to take the van into Baxter State Park and see what they could see. Although they didn’t see much the fall foliage is peak and spectacular as well as the sighting of a blue jay, a red squirrel and a pine siskin.
