It was another beautiful day here at Ktaadn Resorts and our Maine guide, Matt was eager to get out on the lake with both the morning and evening wildlife tours. The morning tour was for the birds as the group of 2 saw a wide variety of them including 4 loons and a nesting loon, kingfishers and terns, Canada Jays, goldeneye ducks, some geese, cedar waxwings and a bald eagle. On the evening tour, with 9 eager guests in tow, Mud Brook was the destination. The sightings were plentiful and included a nesting loon, 2 great blue heron, kingfishers and cedar waxwings, a cormorant, a muskrat, 2 beaver and a moose. What an eventful day!
