Ken was back on double duty today and was able to get out on the lake this morning with a group of 4. They enjoyed the beautiful boat ride in the shadow of Katahdin as they were thrilled to see loons and wood ducks, kingfishers, an eagle and a juvenile eagle, a common tern, 2 cormorants, a great blue heron, blue wing teals and low and behold, a cow moose with a calf! For the evening tour Ken was back on the NEOC pontoon boat with 13 guests. As they started towards Big Mud Brook they encountered loons and wood ducks, 2 herons, 2 kingfishers and a beaver.
