On this tranquil morning Ken took his group of 6 to Big Mud Brook and along the way encountered 2 broad wing hawks, loons, kingfishers, geese, 2 great blue herons, a snapping turtle and 2 painted turtles. It was an equally lovely evening and Ken was once again the skipper of the NEOC pontoon boat. For the first time in a long time there was not a kingfisher in sight however they did see loons, geese, blue wing teals, a cormorant and a painted turtle. The sunset was incredible again tonight as well.
