It was a rainy day so our Maine guide, Ken opted for the van for both the morning and evening tours. In the morning, with a group of 7 he headed up the Golden Road towards the Sofa Pit where they saw a raven, barn swallows, 2 eagles and lots of delicious Maine berries including raspberries, blueberries and some unripe cranberries. For the evening tour with a group of 11 Ken once again went up the Golden Road and the sights of the night were a loon, barn swallows, an eagle, 2 snowshoe hares, a deer and a frog along with a beautiful rainbow. Let’s all pray for sun tomorrow.
