This morning was full of Maine Wildlife and the group of four were lucky enough to experience it! Matt Cyr went out on the pontoon boat with the group and over the course of the tour they saw cormorants, loons, a ring neck duck, mergansers, a snapping turtle, osprey, and a king fisher!

That afternoon a group of six were in for a real treat at Big Mud Brook. Matt Cyr brought the group over and boy did he come back with some story of how the tour went. It started off with seeing a total of twenty loons. They saw two great blue herons, two osprey, and some eagles. The special treat is what Matt shared with us lastly… they saw a HUGE bull moose. “It must have been the biggest one I’ve ever seen,” Matt Cyr told us last night when they got back (and Matt has seen quite a few moose!).

All of our guides say it’s pretty much a 50/50 chance of seeing a moose, but being able to see such a huge moose on any given Thursday is just spectacular.
