It started out a beautiful sunny day and Ken’s group of 8 was very excited to get out on Millinocket Lake in search of some Maine wildlife. As they made their way towards Big Mud Brook they saw 4 loons, 6 kingfisher, 4 Canada geese, a great blue heron and a large number of common mergansers. Although the sun went away and the rain started, the evening group of 9 decided to tough it out boarded the pontoon boat. The sights of the night were lots of loons, kingfishers, a family of blue wing teals, common mergansers, a hawk, an osprey and 2 beaver.
