Well, we certainly worked poor Ken hard today with both a morning and evening wildlife tour and a sight-seeing tour in the middle. It was a beautifully calm morning as Ken and his group of 6 boarded the NEOC pontoon for a leisurely stroll across the lake. They saw plenty of wildlife including, loons and ducks, kingfishers and geese, a Canada jay, 2 painted and 3 snapping turtles, 3 otters and good old Fred the bull. On the sight-seeing tour they went to Sandy Beach and the main basin and saw eagles and loons. With the evening just as calm and lovely as the morning, the group of 11 were happy to glide towards Big Mud Brook and enjoyed the sightings of loons and wood ducks, a heron, a beaver, a snapping turtle and 4 painted turtles along with another sighting of Fred!
