It was another busy day filled with guests in search of our intriguing Maine wildlife. Ken was our guide for today’s activities and he started the day on the boat and headed in to Big Mud Brook via Millinocket Lake. They were fortunate to see many loons, a kingfisher, a bald eagle, some ducks, osprey, a common merganser, an otter, and both a snapping turtle and painted turtle. For the evening tour, they headed back out on the lake and were greeted by many of the same animals and birds as the morning tour, the only addition was a beaver.
