Not to sound like a broken record, but it was another spectacular day here at Twin Pines and our Maine guide, Ken was out on Millinocket Lake bright and early with 8 anxious guests. En route for Big Mud Brook they saw 3 eagles, loons and geese, a great blue heron, a duck, a kingfisher and a cormorant, 4 painted turtles and a snapping turtle, a deer and 3 Maine snaketails. In the evening, Ken and 13 guests ventured back out on the lake where they saw 2 eagles, common mergansers, a cormorant, Canada geese, a common tern, loons and ducks, a beaver and the first sighting of “Fred” the Big Bull.
