This morning, Ken was at the helm of the NEOC pontoon and he boarded his group of 12 and set sail for Big Mud Brook. Along the way they encountered a wide variety of wildlife including loons, ring-necked ducks, common mergansers, a painted turtle, a snapping turtle, 2 deer and of course a cow moose and a bull as well. In the evening it was Ken again with a single guest and he opted for the van tonight. They ventured into Baxter State Park and walked in to Sandy Stream Pond where they saw several lady slippers in bloom, some pitcher plants, a painted turtle and 2 cow moose!
