We had 2 wildlife tours today and Matt was the guide for both. In the morning, he and a group of 2 went up to Baxter State Park and walked the boardwalk to Sandy Stream Pond where they saw several goldeneye ducks. For the evening tour he was able to get his group of 3 out on the lake in the pontoon boat where they were able to see a nesting loon, terns, a flock of goldeneyes, an osprey, a sharp shinned hawk with a fish in it’s claws, 2 more loons and a doe.
