Today was another beautiful day to be in Maine and Ken and his two eager guests were on the lake early this morning en route to Big Mud Brook. Along the way they encountered several loons, an eagle, a kingfisher, 2 snapping turtles and the amazing sight of a red squirrel swimming across the brook as seen below. Ken also noted that the May flies are hatching. On this lovely evening Ken was our Maine guide once again and gathered his 7 guests for our evening tour. They were happy to see a bald eagle, loons, a broad wing hawk, a ring-necked duck and a bull and cow moose. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s report.
