Moose Wildlife Sightings

Our 2021 season has started and it is a very active one! It was a glorious sunny morning in the Katahdin region and our Maine guide, Ken was back out on Millinocket Lake with a family of 5 from Florida. As they meandered their way to Big Mud Brook they spotted lots of wildlife. This family of 5 from Florida got to witness our first Moose sightings of the season. They were thrilled to see 2 moose swimming and 1 moose on a beach. The excitement continued once they reached the brook! There, they saw a cow and her newly born calf. Other wildlife they spotted were Loons, Canadian geese, deer, and a painted turtle! A great time was had by all!
