Katahdin–grand as ever–was bathed in brilliant morning light as the group made their way to Mud Brook via pontoon. Maine guide, Glen was at the helm and tried his best to round up a moose but apparently the moose had other plans. No moose today, but beautiful scenery and fall colors everywhere as the group made their way to Mud Brook. The group was thrilled to see a BALD EAGLE and delighted when a few loons made an appearance. The moose were hiding again during Glen’s evening tour but the group was happy to see loons, ducks, geese, osprey, a blue heron and a wood chuck.
