This morning was so foggy that we weren’t even able to see the other side of the lake, so Ken gathered his group of 4 into the van and headed onto the Golden Rd. They stopped at River Pond and were able to see some ducks and geese along with a cooper’s hawk. They came across some wild Maine cranberries as well. Once the fog cleared we were treated to an absolutely breathtaking day so Ken was able to get his group of 13 onto the lake for the evening tour. They saw loons and geese, common mergansers and kingfishers and 3 beaver. I am sure they got some great photos of the surrounding beauty reflecting off of the perfectly calm lake as well.
