After a much deserved day off, we had our Maine guide Ken pulling double duty today with both a morning and evening wildlife tour. It was a foggy morning on the lake and as they maneuvered their way towards Big Mud Brook they spotted lots of loons, ducks, kingfishers and a dozen common mergansers. The evening was a warm 70 degrees and cloudy as they ventured out on the lake once again in search of some Maine wildlife. It was almost a repeat of the morning tour as they saw plenty of birds including, 4 cormorants, loons, belted kingfishers, a great blue heron and some ducks.
