It seems like summer doesn’t want to quit this year and that is fine with us here at the New England Outdoor Center. We are really getting some use out of the NEOC pontoon boat as both Matt and Ken were able to get their groups out on the lake today. In the morning, Matt had 8 guests in tow as he headed for Big Mud Brook. They were able to spot a plethora of wildlife including cormorants, male wood ducks, kingfishers, Canada geese, a great blue heron, both an adult and juvenile eagle and 2 doe deer. On the evening tour, Ken and 11 guests were eager to set sail. The group saw loons and kingfishers, a Canada goose, common mergansers, an eagle and some painted turtles.
