Today started with our Maine guide, Bob and 7 guests aboard the NEOC pontoon boat heading for Big Mud Brook. Along the way they saw loons and kingfishers and enjoyed the beauty of the Katahdin region. On our evening tour, we had Matt as our guide and a group of 11. The wind had picked up a bit by then but they were still able to get out on the lake where they were able to see loons and mallards, eagles, cormorants, kingfishers, a Canada goose and a sharp-shinned hawk.
