With the winds whipping across Millinocket Lake, Ken thought it was best to take his group of 6 by land this evening so he loaded them into the NEOC van and headed up the Golden Road. As they made their way to the Sofa Pit they encountered ducks, northern flickers, a turkey vulture and a great blue heron.
