It was a calm but chilly morning at NEOC and our guide Dave took our guests for a scenic boat ride in hopes of spotting a moose. They headed in to Mud Brook but only saw some loons, kingfishers, and a cormorant. For the evening tour, Ken decided to go by van to Sandy Stream Pond and some of our secret spots along the Golden Road. They saw a yellow-bellied sap sucker, 5 common merganser ducks, and last but not least…our guests were delighted to see 2 moose!! A bull and a cow. Great job Ken!!
