With a lovely summer weekend in the forecast, Ken and a small group of 2 enjoyed a lovely calm lake as they slowly made their way towards Big Mud Brook. The loons were plentiful as well as the kingfishers and cormorants. They also saw 2 eagles, a few painted turtles and 2 beaver as they took in the gorgeous scenery of the Katahdin region.
